Grandma Thelma and Grandpa Kenny are in Michigan for their yearly visit. We had a wonderful cookout over the weekend at Mom's house. It's so good to get a chance to see everyone together.
Chris' cousin had a wedding over the weekend also. It was a beautiful ceremony.
I have started doing some gardening work on the side to try and gain some experience, as well as make a little extra money. I've gotten a couple of jobs so far. Chris is so supportive about it. He's encouraging me to do it professionally on the side; to actually start up a legitimate business. I'm going for it. I've ordered some cards and will be getting my DBA sometime this summer. We've been getting a lot done in the yard also. Getting ready for our annual summer cookout. We've got a decent garden going, though I'm anxious for it to fill out some more. You can take a look at what's going on in our garden here: For The Love Of Plants.
