Nightime Visitor

Ok, I'm sure for most, this is nothing worth blogging about. But for those who know me, and know how much I LOVE dragonflies, I think you can appreciate this. Last night after a long day of work and class I came home and while making a snack I heard a buzzing and tapping sound at the sliding glass door. My cat was going crazy at the door. I looked outside into the dark and saw that it was a bug, then I realized what kind of bug. A DRAGONFLY!
It kept bashing istself against the glass, so I opened the door to let it in. It was one of the prettiest dragonflies I've ever seen around here!!




He flew around the lights, and landed on my finger and my shoulder.



I played with him for a while, and of course got some pics, before sending him back off into the night.



Chris really got a kick out of how happy I was about a silly little bug. But what better way for me to end my day than to have a dragonfly come knock on my door to play with me?!
Haha... and if you look just behind the dragonfly you can see my cat, Meadow, staring at it. She wanted so badly to play with it too!
